Why YOU need To Be A BEMA Member
Are you up to date with the changes taking place in the Flavour Regulatory Area? Have you been involved in the process and updating of the flavour regulations, Smoke regulations, Animal Feed Regulations, Solvent Emissions Directive etc etc.? Do you understand the impact of REACH on our industry? Are you able to express you views to Government, or the EU?
BEMA exists to represent the interests of the UK flavouring industry. It concerns itself with all issues that are relevant to companies, large and small, who manufacturing and/or sell flavourings in the UK BEMA provides the best way for flavour companies to be aware of and prepare for changes in the EU and UK regulatory regimes and participate in a concerted industry response to those proposed changes, aimed at achieving the most workable regulatory framework for the future. BEMA also Monitors and compares demands upon our industry from major customers, and where appropriate develops common industry positions to deal with these.
Joining BEMA is the only way to obtain membership of the European (EFFA) and global (IOFI) flavour industry associations.
